The squadron staff is a team of Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) officers, Civilian Instructors (CI) and Civilian Volunteers (CV). As members of the CIC, they belong to the Cadet Organization Administration and Training Service (COATS), which is a sub-component of the Canadian Forces Reserves. The staff at 188 Cobra are specifically tasked with the supervision, administration and training of cadets. Staff have full time day jobs while they dedicate their evenings, weekends and vacation days to the development of the youth under their care. All our adult staff are trained and screened to work with youth.

Administration
Ontario Health Card - All cadets are to carry their Ontario Health Card on their person at all times during cadet activities.
Training
Orienteering Activity – The squadron will be conducting an Orienteering activity on 09 November 2024 at Marita Payne Park. This activity is open to all cadets. Cadets are to meet at Dufferin-Clark Community Centre (1441 Clark Avenue, Thornhill, ON) at 1000hrs and will be dismissed at 1500hrs. Lunch will be provided. Remembrance Day Ceremony – The squadron will be participating in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 527 Remembrance Day ceremony on 11 November 2024. This activity is open to all cadets. Parents/guardians are welcome to attend. Cadets are asked to arrive at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 527 (948 Sheppard Avenue West, Toronto, ON) for 0930hrs for parade practice and will be dismissed at 1200hrs. Name Tags - All initial blue name tags are free of charge. Cadets who have misplaced or would like to purchase additional name tags may complete this form to place an order ($5.00 each paid to the Squadron Sponsoring Committee).
